EDR1RXD1 Replacement Whirlpool Ice and Water Refrigerator Filter 1

Cleaner, Fresher, Better-Tasting Water Straight From Your Fridge

If your water has started tasting flat, metallic or faintly of chlorine — or your ice looks cloudy — your filter is overdue. The Filter 1 (EDR1RXD1) restores the crisp, clean taste your refrigerator was built to deliver, and it takes under a minute to swap in.

Designed as a direct replacement for W10295370A, this filter is compatible with select Whirlpool, Maytag, KitchenAid, Amana, Jenn-Air and Kenmore refrigerators that use Filter 1.

Why Customers Choose This Filter

• Advanced activated carbon block media — helps reduce chlorine taste and odor, lead, sediment and other common contaminants, so every glass tastes the way it should.
• Clearer, better ice — cleaner water in means clearer cubes that don't taint your drinks.
• Tool-free, 60-second install — twist out the old one, twist in the new one. That's the whole job.
• Up to 6 months / 200 gallons of filtered water per cartridge — set a reminder and forget about it until then.
• Same proven filter design you already know, in updated packaging.
• Brand new and sealed — never refurbished, never refilled.

Install It In 3 Steps

1. Locate your Filter 1 cartridge (base grille or upper-right interior, depending on model).
2. Twist and remove the old filter — no shut-off valve, no tools needed.
3. Insert and lock the new filter, then run about 2–4 gallons through the dispenser to flush it. Done.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this fit my refrigerator?
It fits select Whirlpool, Maytag, KitchenAid, Amana, Jenn-Air and Kenmore models that use Filter 1. If your current filter is marked EDR1RXD1 or W10295370A, this is your replacement.

How do I know when to replace it?
Replace every 6 months or 200 gallons — or sooner if water flow slows or taste changes. Most refrigerators will also show a filter indicator light.

Do I need to turn off my water supply?
No. The twist-and-lock design seals automatically, so you can swap it with the water on.

Why does my water look cloudy after installing?
That's trapped air, and it's normal. Flush 2–4 gallons through the dispenser and it clears right up.
